The Grain Suite

The Grain suite is on the ground floor and the windows overlook the river, the Weir and the gardens.

This is a heavily beamed room with lower ceilings.  It has its own private entrance and is separate from the main house.  It opens out onto a small lawn with table and chairs.

The room is equipped with a super king sized bed, two sofas, high quality linen, towels, bathroom accessories and many thoughtful extras...

The windows open directly onto the River Wey and the wildlife which inhabit this part of the riverbank are right there to enjoy. A kingfisher, a heron, a moorhen or a family of swans may delight, as well as the abundance of brown trout and other fish in the Mill Pool.  Many varieties of beautiful, and sometimes rare birds, butterflies and brightly coloured dragonflies can be spotted here.  The scene and light are constantly changing, minute by minute, day by day, and season by season.

The water over the weir can be cascading at full torrent, or just falling gently depending upon the rainfall, but the river and its secrets are always a source of interest in all weathers and seasons, however and whenever you find it.
