Newly fitted  kitchen with duck egg blue painted cupboards and fitted Belfast sink surrounded by light oak coloured wooden work surfaces, complete with navy blue double oven Aga.  The kitchen is well equipped and has microwave, large fridge/freezer and washer/dryer, and slate flooring. From the dining hall there are openings in the vertical beams  giving glimpses of the river and river banks, and the main kitchen windows open directly onto the river giving views of flora and fauna and gentle sounds of the water.

UPSTAIRS

Approached by a small cottage staircase and landing, the huge bedroom area comprises an open plan room with an impressive high vaulted beamed ceiling  and is divided into three sections. The whole space is heavily beamed.   The first section has a working/dressing table area with plenty of room to work and spread out, and there is a third bed for an extra guest, if required. The middle section has sofas, table and chairs and flat screen televsion providing satellite freeview channels, and a DVD player. The far section has a super king sized bed with generous sized bathroom off, with bath and overbath electric shower, basin and lavatory and slate flooring.

The views from this room are double aspect and are of  the gardens, fields and woodland to the front, and of the river and upstream, to the side.

OUTSIDE

There is parking allowance for up to 2 cars and outside to the front of the cottage is a lawned area with table and chairs.  This is a real sun spot and a perfect place to enjoy a snack or just to relax and read.

There are many walks which can be taken straight from the cottage which don't have to include any road walking.
