Recreation
Bentley Mill is situated at a crossing of footpaths and there are many pretty walks in this part of the North Hampshire Downs including river walks, farmland, and in the adjacent Alice Holt Forest.
This wood has a Forestry Commission Research Station in the centre and they have planted many varieties of trees from all corners of the world, fortunately they have nameplates on the rarer varieties.
You would be unlucky not to spot the deer during a walk through the forest.
There are four walks that we suggest, but you can mix and match any to suit your own wishes. All walks start from and finish at Bentley Mill.
